Dear all,

I have seen in the nagios mailing list that it is possible to compile and
execute nrpe on aix 5.2 systems. My question is that I am trying to do the
same but I am having problems with the check_disk plugin. The following
occurs:

If I perform

/nagios/libexec/check_disk -w 20 -c 10 -p /dev/hd1

I get an error (something like -p parameter is not valid ...). I have
tried also:

/nagios/libexec/check_disk -w 20 -c 10 -x /dev/hd1

and with this command I have a valid response but regarding all of disks,
not just the /dev/hd1:

DISK CRITICAL - free space: /var 1674 MB (82% inode=100%): /tmp 702 MB
(69% inode=99%): /home 1628 MB (79% inode=100%): /proc 0 MB (0%
inode=NANQ%): /opt 2017 MB (99% inode=100%): /oracle 75654 MB (55%
inode=100%): /oracle/u04 6838 MB (21% inode=100%): /oracle/u04/exports-nfs
114461 MB (60% inode=100%):

Could you please confirm the exact syntax of the check_disk command and if
for anyone of you it is working on aix 5.2 boxes?

Un saludo,

Pablo
