how to get host OUT of scheduled maintenance?

Using Nagios 2.0b6.

Scenario: Host goes down due to hardware failure. Technician on call,
not wanting to have to reset
the scheduled maintenance every few hours enters a "scheduled
maintenance for next 24 hours (flexible)"
command. Hardware people bring the host up after "only" ten hours.

However, the machine, even though all it's services are in hard "OK", is
still in scheduled maintenance.
Which means that there will be no notifications sent if it goes down
again. Deleting the "scheduled maintenance"
comment through the CGI control only deletes the comment - the host
itself is still in scheduled maintenance.

So how does one indicate that the "maintenance" terminated earlier than
expected and to please resume reporting
any problems?
