Services - Hostgroups?

Hello,

I was wondering how one would define a hostgroup_name in a service? I
didn't see anything in the doc's
(http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/2_0/xodtemplate.html#service)

And I noticed that it is a MUST to have a host_name. For some reason I
thought I saw where you could use a hostgroup_name, rather than
host_name's, which seems to make sense to me.

I tried adding the hostgroup_name rather than just the host_name, and it
seems to work OK. (At least from a preflight check perspective) Is this
a documentation issue?
