Distributed servers and parenting

Well I am not sure how parenting would affect my monitoring hiearchy. If
you look at this image for my setup....

... if the distributed server is monitoring the firewall system as it's 
in the same remote location from the central server, and that firewall is
the parent of the distributed server, will the central server see the 
landscape correctly? Or is this a non-issue? If it's not obvious, I am 
monitoring the distributed server with NRPE through the firewall, not
bypassing it as the image might be suggesting. Thanks.
