what kind of output are you wanting exactly?

i put a tool on nagiosexchange.org called 'Snapshot' that outputs the
hostname and 'Status Info' string onto the command line, grouped by
services.

It's not great, but you can pipe the output to mailx or run the output
through another script to create a summary.
