Solaris (Could not complete SSL handshake)

I discovered the problem. It appears that on Solaris,
it's looking for nrpe.cfg in // according to truss:

18351: open("//nrpe.cfg", O_RDONLY) Err#2 ENOENT

Even though, I have the following entry defined in /etc/inetd.conf:

nrpe stream tcp nowait nagios /usr/local/nagios/bin/nrpe -c
/usr/local/nagios/etc/nrpe.cfg -i

BTW, the instructions also said to use "--inetd", and I discovered that
was an invalid option. Should be "-i".

Anyhow, for now, I just copied my nrpe.cfg to /. Has anyone
else ran into this? Is this a bug?

Thanks,
- Bill

Subject: Solaris (Could not complete SSL handshake)

Hello,
I'm using NRPE 2.5.1 where the Nagios server is a Red Hat
FC4 system and the client is a Solaris 8 system. When
executing check_nrpe from the server to the client I'm
getting the "Could not complete SSL handshake" error. I've
tried numerous things and can't get this to work. I've
got NRPE working fine on other Red Hat clients however.
The nrpe binary on the client was compiled against SSL
libraries version 0.9.8. I've ran ldd against nrpe on
the client and it looks fine. (I see it linked to the
appropriate SSL libraries under /usr/local/ssl/lib)

Any ideas?

Thanks,
