Nagios 2.2, check_ifoperstatus running on OS X 10.4

Have you tried running the plugin from the command line as the Nagios
user with the same parameters?

I recently installed Nagios 2.2 onto a Mac G4 running OSX 10.4
Everything is working extremely well except for one service check based
on 'check_ifoperstatus'.  Inside the web interface for Nagios all these
service checks get (No Output!) returned.  Here is the configuration:
