Limiting absolute floods of emails/sms

Hello

There is an excellent addon to nagios called NAN. and can be found at 
nagiosexchange or http://os.cyberheatinc.com/nan.php this is a perl based 
daemon. "It's main design goal is to limit the number of notifications that 
nagios sends." <-- this is quote from the software. we used it in our test 
enviroments and the amount of sms and emails has been reduced significally.
