Checking Traffic via SNMP

Does anyone know of a plugin I can use to monitor bandwidth utilization
of a remote host via snmp?

I can use check_snmp to obtain total bytes in either direction, but I'm
more interested in some sort of aggregation of bytes/sec. Perhaps an
average bytes/sec over an N second interval.

Anything like that?

I've recently found a check_snmp_if perl script and I'm looking to
extend that to poll ifInOctets and ifOutOctets over an interval and
averaging. Any thoughts?

Much Thanks,
-Travis
