how can i change the timeout value for check_http

check_http --help shows you can specify a -t <TIMEOUT> to set that.

i have a remove nagios box that i get a lot of false messages.

I need to change the timeout value for check_http

i have changed the ping timeouts with args, but does not appear to be
any for check_http
