pros/cons of using MySQL?

I looked at that also when I first got started with Nagios.  Couldn't
really any see any major benefit to doing it.  Add the fact that with
the 2.0 release, MySQL support is now deprecated and I think that paints
a pretty clear picture of the usefulness of the MySQL support.
