Nagios notifies indefinitely

Oh sorry...I was looking at the host/service configuration not the
escalation configuration.  My understanding of the notifiation_interval
is that tells nagios to send out a notification every x minutes until
the problem is fixed (or maybe changes status?).  So what you are
currently experiencing would be what I would expect from nagios...

Maybe somebody else that is familiar with escalations can chime in (I
haven't gotten around to configuring escalations yet).
