Hmm. Well, I suppose I could create my own rpms, but I don't think that
would fix the failed tests %.

I should have also added that I read the REQUIREMENTS file and loaded up
sufficiently there.

Subject: Plugin install question

While installing nagios-plugins 1.3.1 & 1.4 make test fails often Failed
14/19 test scripts, 26.32% okay. 39/82 subtests failed, 52.44% okay.

uname -a = Linux xxxx 13 2.4.21-27.0.2.ELsmp #1 SMP Wed Jan 12 23:35:44 EST
2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

And the plugin FAQ indicates the following:

4. Q: I'm using Redhat Linux (or some other RPM-based distribution).
Which packages should I install? ....

.....So in the end,
all the non-POSIX plugins were folded into one RPM
(nagios-plugins-<version>.<arch>.rpm). Most people will need to
use RPM's '--nodeps' option to install this package

But on sourceforge I don't see an updated rpm file; I am wondering which one
I should use?

The date on this one looks ...old 1.4.0alpha1 [show only this release]
