Multiple Notifications & Event Handling Failures

Hi All,

I've just upgraded to Debian unstable Nagios 1.3 from 1.2 and have noted
multiple deliveries of service notifications.
The frequency of the interval between notifications has also shortened.
Where I previously would have received one or two notifications, I now
get 5 or 6. The service & host declarations are the same, so I'm
confused as to why this would be? Does anyone know what may have
changed?

I also have a seperate issue with event handlers that has been raised in
posts previously, but for which I am unable to find any resolution. The
problem is that for a service event handler, which is only called when
the service state returns to status OK.
Again the event handler is a direct extrapolation from the example
documentation for the httpd_restart.
Is anyone able to shed some light here?

Cheers,

Lewis Shobbrook
