nrpe with check_log2

Hi all,

I need to use check_log2 with nrpe. my other nrpe based plugins are working
fine. but i if i use check_log2 it gives
NRPE: Unable to read output
here is my nrpe.cfg coomand
command[check_log2]=/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_log2 -l
/var/log/messages -s .seekfile -p "ERR|Err|err|PANIC|Panic|panic"

pls help to solve this..
