nagios daily log

Hi,

we have copy my testperfparse to our big system. Now my boss told me that
the daily log of nagios is missing...

May it happen that this depends on PerfParse???

I've tested this on my own system and it's the same problem, no daily log
but without perfparse is there a log. Onwhat can this depend???
