question concerning removing rrd entries for nagios-grapher

I am using Nagios-Grapher and it's an excellent tool. I however have
been changing some service names now that I'm using it to a syntax and
there are graphs with the old names that I no longer need.

I can delete those graphs, but the listings are still in graphs.cfg and
obviously give an error that they cannot be found.

How should I remove graphs that I no longer need? I have yet to remove a
host, and I wonder if those would be left as well.
