newbie - nrpe

Hi !,
I am setting up nagios, I have downloaded nagios-2.0b3.tar.gz, then 
compiled and all run smoothly.
Now I would like to monitor some remote hosts, I have read that I need 
nrpe, but I can't find where is it or how do I get it running.
I haven't found it on FAQs or in the Nagios's documentation.

Could anybody help me??
