- plugin to check file system writeable ?

bash$ cat /etc/mtab

/dev/hda5 /usr ext2 rw 0 0
/dev/hda6 /var ext2 rw 0 0
/dev/sdb1 /opt ext3 rw 0 0

The fourth field shows the read-write status.
