problem with 3d status map.

hi,
for viweing 3d status map , i got
openvrml-0.15.8-1.i386.rpm but it doesn't work .
i tried to use freewrl but these are some errors
related to javac that say no javac ,
would some one help me ?
my distrib is red hat AS ,
