install with APT-GET ?

I installed Nagios 1.3 using apt under Debian testing, which picked up all of the dependencies automatically (a real bonus). I then grabbed Nagios 2.0x from CVS, and installed it manually (which was easy, because all of the dependencies were fulfilled from the apt install). I then removed the 1.3 install (again, via apt), but chose to keep all of the dependencies.

I use "debfoster" to manage which packages are kept and which are removed, and it really helped to keep things in order for this process.

Subject: [Nagios-users] install with APT-GET ?

Has anyone installed Nagios under Debian with APT-GET ? Did you have to do
some special settings ?

This because of V1.3 that's installed with it, is 2.0 manual a better option
?

Thanks,
