Running Nagios 1.2 on RH EL3

I'm running the Nagios 1.2 binary provided by the Dag RPM here:

http://dag.wieers.com/packages/nagios/nagios-1.1-6.rhel3.dag.i386.rpm

I've had no problems with any of the RH kernels, 2.4.21-4 through
2.4.21-27.

Tried strace?
