Getting this error

Here is the out put.

[root at XXXX plugins]#
/usr/local/nagios/nagios-plugins-1.3.1/plugins/check_procs
-a strace
OK - 0 processes running with args strace

As you can see there is none.
So what could be the problem here? How can I get this to work so that there
is no report of errors unless there is an error?

This looks like it's from the check_proc plugin that is running on
64.182.35.81. Do you get the error when it's run locally?

If you are out of swap, that could cause this.

If you can reproduce the error by running check_procs locally, you can run
strace "<check_procs with args that cause problem>". Strace shows system
calls and should tell which one is complaining.

Post output here and we'll see what kind of suggestions we can make.
