Host checks

Good morning,

I tried to find answer from mailing list archives but was not able to
find an answer.

When ever any of the service checks fails nagios will check wether host
is alive. This is fine, but my problem is that for now my nagios
installation pings host 5 times in less that 30 seconds and then sends
"host down" alert. What I would like to get is 10s delay between these
pings.

I would priciate if anyone could give me a pointer how to fix this.

I'm using nagios 2.0B3 on OpenBSD 3.8 box.

If you need any other information, just let me know....

Yours,
pete
