Send SMS alert via mobile

Hello everyone!

I'm using nagios for monitoring some servers and want to receive
nagios notifications via SMS. I know that some software can send SMS
via internet, but sometimes SMS comes with delay or never comes
because internet channel in down. It's not a good solution for me.
A more good solution - send SMS via mobile phone connected to
monitoring server. This can do by SCMxx, but it support very old phone
models, which are removed from manufacture.

Can anyone recommend command line tool for Linux/*BSD, which can send
SMS from mobile phone and support more newer mobile phones?
