Check_Oracle plugin help needed

I looking at trying to use the instantclient
(http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/oci/instantclient/instantclient.html).
Might be an option if your connecting to a recent database (9i? and
higher). Im hoping to test in the next couple of weeks.
