Hello all,

I have having some trouble getting Nagios to properly email alerts, I
setup a test failure and here is the output in the nagios.log:

[1113229562] Warning: Attempting to execute the command "/usr/bin/printf
"%b" "***** Nagios *****\n\nNotification Type: PROBLEM\n\nService: SMTP
Mail\nHost: Stats and Monitoring\nAddress: 192.168.1.2\nState:
WARNING\n\nDate/Time: Mon Apr 11 09:26:02 CDT 2005\n\nAdditional
Info:\n\nInvalid SMTP response received from host" | -s "** PROBLEM
alert - Stats and Monitoring/SMTP Mail is WARNING **"
jon at clearconcepts.ca" resulted in a return code of 127. Make sure the
script or binary you are trying to execute actually exists...

I am using postfix for the mail and all the root messages email out just
fine. None of the FAQ's seem to apply to my issue and I can't find any
setting in Nagios for email at all other than the address to send to. I
don't if it s trying to connect directly to sendmail which I don't have
installed or what.

Thanks,
Jon
