Nagios with MySQL on Mac OS X Server 10.3.5

Okay, so I'm setting up  (obviously) nagios 1.2 with MySQL.

./configure ran fine with the following setup:

./configure --with-mysql-xdata --with-mysql-lib=/usr/lib/mysql
--with-mysql-inc=/usr/include/mysql --with-gd-lib=/usr/local/lib
--with-gd-inc=/usr/local/include --prefix=/usr/local/nagios
--with-cgirul=/cgi-bin/ -with-htmlurl=/

No errors at all in that.

When I run make all, I get this:

ld: Undefined symbols:
_mysql_close
_mysql_fetch_row
_mysql_free_result
_mysql_init
_mysql_query
_mysql_real_connect
_mysql_store_result
_mysql_insert_id
_mysql_errno
make[1]: *** [nagios] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2

So first, how serious are these errors, and second, any tips on fixing them?

Mac OS X Server 10.3.5 with Xcode Tools version 1.5 installed.
