Disable checks for host

You must enable external commands to use the web interface.
"external" because the web server (and related cgis) is a different program
from the nagios daemon. Using the web interface "Disable check of all
services on this host" is the quickest way to accomplish what you want.

Disabling in the cfg file for a host only disables checks of the
check-host-alive, not for any associated services. To disable checks of
services, change the relevant service definitions to not include the host.
Or better yet, enable the web interface and use it.

Hi,

i can't disable checks from nagios interface because i don't enabled
external command !

And i can't add "active_checks_enabled 0" because the hosts are member of
groups and the service check is defined for group !

The option "checks_enabled 0" on the host's definitions must work. Is it
true ?

Thank You very much
Best Regards

Add 'active_checks_enabled 0' to your service definitions or use the web
interface to temporarily disable the checks by clicking on the host and
selecting "Disable checks of all services on this host".
