A simple way is to use include files.
http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/1_0/cgiincludes.html

All users will see the headers if you include it in common-header.ssi
The ssi file is re-read each time a cgi is viewed, refreshed, or
auto-refreshed

Subject: [Nagios-users] Messages to logged in users

Hi List members!

I would like to send messages to other people, who logged in Nagios web
pages as I can do it with CiscoWorks2000 (via a little message box
(frame) or a popup window).

Did someone use a similar solution? If you can send me the code, or idea
or any suggestions I don't have to write scripts for a long time.

Background information:
Our company has provided remote monitoring for one of our customers from
January this year. Now, we would like to give access their IT personnel
staff to Nagios' web interface.

This feature would be very useful to notify other logged in person about
for example Nagios shut down events. We don't want to use other programs
(ICQ, winpopup, etc.) to implement this feature, because the customer's
country wide network is rather heterogenous and because we don't want to
force them to install another application.

Any help would be appreciated!

Tamas!
