For apan, you specified the icon image to put icons next to the services.
icon_image    graph.png

In your configuration, you specified the only the statusmap image.
It should show up properly if you look in the status map.

If you want it to show up in the status overview pagaes, you must specify
the icon_image also.

  define hostextinfo{
	host_name           debian
      icon_image          debian.png
      statusmap_image     debian.gd2
	}

If the icon does not show up in the statusmap, make sure you have GD
installed properly when you compiled Nagios.

Subject: [Nagios-users] logos will appear

HI,

I want to have icons,I made for this a serviceextinfo file (and a
pointer in nagios.cfg =>
xedtemplate_config_file=/usr/local/nagios/etc/hostextinfo.cfg),
i followed the documentation.
I downloaded icons put them in /usr/local/nagios/share/images/logos
then i did
vim hostextinfo.cfg
  define hostextinfo{
	host_name	debian
	vrml_image	debian.png
	statusmap_image	debian.gd2
	2d_coords	100,250
	3d_coords	100.0,50.0,75.0
	}
and nothing appears.

I've done a kind of same thing when i tried Apan, a plug that put little
icons near each host in the services page pointing to graphs and it
worked without a glitch. So i was considering i had the option in
compilation to accept extinfo.
I hope u can understand easily what i try to tell you in my 4 years' old
     english ;)

Regards
