Why no repeat host notifications?

I'm getting an initial notification when a host goes down
but no further notifications, even tho' I expect them.

The following is the host object definition, as shown
by the debug-enabled version of Nagios 1.2, on Linux Woody.

My understanding is that the only thing that ought to cause this is
having the notification_interval set to zero, but as is shown below,
that's not the case.

Any ideas?
