check_tcp on solaris

hi

my environment is solaris 9 with nagios-plugins-1.4.0alpha1
i figured out, that check_tcp terminates with
Segmentation Fault(coredump)
if the given port couldn't be connected.
exit code is of course 139 instead of 2 ( or 1 )

check_tcp compiles without any warnings. using gcc
the problem exists on sparc and x86 too.

any ideas ?

i looked on an old solaris 7 box
there was netsaint version 0.0.7 - i belief
dont ask me the plugins-version.
should be about march 2001 or older.
but the check_tcp works correctly.
$? is 2 if the checked port isn't available.

best regards
hans

p.s.: are there some other solaris operators ?
