omreport and nagios

I would like to do some monitoring of dell systems with nagios and already saw
a script for it passing by a couple of days ago.

However installing the entire OpenManage from Dell seems overkill for just 
doing
things with omreport. Did somebody try to find out which files were really 
needed
for omreport so that it would be possible to install just these files on other
dell systems after installing the entire OpenManage once?

Is it possible to do monitorig of megaraid devices other than using the 
perc-snmp
package together with f.i. net-snmp as the percmain process seems to hang often
on our dells with RedHat 9 on it.

Thanks in advance if somebody has some experiences with this.
