Solaris compile issues - statusmap.cgi and others

How can I get this quote from:

of probably good secuirty considerations). On solaris, set LD_RUN_PATH
before you compile."

I spent a while trying to compile nagios on Solaris correctly.

I did the ldd statusmap.cgi trick as mentioned in the FAQ and it showed the
gd libs linked correctly to /usr/local/lib, but statusmap.cgi refused to work
until recompiled with LD_RUN_PATH set.
