check traffic on big iron

[icedtea]

I would like to monitor traffic on our big iron 8000 switch and check 
the interfaces on which port has the highest traffic. has any of you 
guys created a plugin for this switch already? Also, is there a way to 
monitor traffic with using snmp? I would like to use check_by_ssh only. 
working configs will be of great help.
