syntax for hostextinfo

Dear,

You should check if you don't use templates.  If so, add the following into
your cgi.cfg:

#Extendid info
xedtemplate_config_file=/etc/nagios/hostextinfo.cfg
xedtemplate_config_file=/etc/nagios/serviceextinfo.cfg

Then, in the cfg files you should have something like:

for hostextinfo.cfg:

define hostextinfo{
        host_name       UNUSED
        icon_image      win40.png
        icon_image_alt  Windows XP
        vrml_image      win40.png
        statusmap_image win40.png
        2d_coords       550,500
        3d_coords       100.0,50.0,75.0
        }
 
for serviceextinfo.cfg:

define serviceextinfo{
        host_name               neptune
        service_description     NTP
        notes_url               /nagios/serviceextinfo/neptune/ntp.conf
        icon_image              ../extinfo.gif
        icon_image_alt          View Additional Notes For This Service
        }

Of course, this is all very nicely explained in the manual :-)
