OUTPUT variable

The two methods I know of: use an external file to hold the necessary data,
or edit the nagios source.

If this is continuation to question regarding the custom plugin you wrote,
the first method is simple enough to do. Make your plugin output a unique
string, and write the long output to a temp file identified by the unique
string. Your event handler would then use the output from the plugin to
know which temp file to look in.

Subject: [Nagios-users] OUTPUT variable

Hi guys,

Is there a way to get around with the limitation on the length of the
$OUTPUT$ variable?

Thanks.

Neil
