Nagios failure

Brian,

The "fork failed" message indicates that your system was not able to
fork another process for nagios.

This could be caused by the max processes per user on your system,
or maximum of open file handlers or a similar resource problem.

It's not neccesairily a nagios problem, but sounds like something is
eating up your resources.
