Ok sounds good, I'm happy if i have to present them a bill which is not 
too high.

Actually it runs 200H/400S but will scale to ~200/1000 in the next time.

Everything afterwards will be out of my sight (since i will have 
finished my Internship then).

That is actually not planed. I to actice checks with NRPE and NSClient 
and mainly snmp (i try to use -m <specific MIB> to reduce load due to 
loading all MIBS). Additional snmptrapd and snmptt is running and 
catching snmp traps.
MRTG rund on another box, so hopefully it will stay there :-)
