downtime feature clarification

I've done some reading about Nagios (both the docs and list archives) and am wondering if it has this feature:

Say I have a host group with 3 servers in it and I've configured nagios to monitor their availability to ping. Suppose that one by one the servers become unpingable (server1, then 2, then 3), and then after some time, they each become pingable again (but in the reverse order (server 3 first, then 2 , then 1).

Does Nagios keep track of the downtime of each server or just the downtime of the whole group? and if so, will it correctly show the specific period during which each server was unpingable?

Sorry, if this has been clarified in previous posts, but I couldn't find an answer in the archives.

TIA,
Joubin
