nsca: how to maintain configuration at one place?

Hello.


Nagios monitoring of multiple sites is being deployed.
There are 2 general methods:

1. checks are initiated by central server (i.e. nrpe plugin)
2. checks are initiated by each site (nsca plugin)

It's desirable to implement method 2.

But in such a scheme configuration must be maintained doubly: at each 
site (active checks) and at central nagios (passive checks).
Is there any standard way to solve this?
