IIRC, NSCA *doesn't* authenticate with Nagios.  Because the nsca daemon is
running as the nagios user, it has write permission the the rw/nagios.cmd
named pipe, and just drops a command into there.

Note that this is how the web interface works, in part.  You can actually
drop *any* Nagios command in here (eg, schedule downtime, disable
monitoring, etc etc) as well as status notifications.

Of course I may be totally wrong, in which case someone will surely let me
know in about 0.1usec :)
