Alarm categories

Hi List!

 

To support our customer's requirement for error categories (defined in SLA)
we have to classify errors. We have to classify software and hardware errors
in a slightly different way.

 

Does someone incorporated alarm categories (like HP OV NNM), or something
similar to Nagios? How can I do it? It would be very useful, if I will
display events by categories, configure notifications and escalations
according to categories. Is it somehow possible?
