Hi Mike,

The answer is in your subject.
Use the negate command in /usr/local/nagios/libexec to reverse the plug in output. I.e. check a bunch of machines for FTP and only get alerts if they are running ftp.

Cheers

Tom

Hi all.

I'd like to know the easiest way to check if a service is NOT running.

For example, I want an indication if any of my servers ARE running ftp.

What's the easiest way to do this?

Thanx,
