Disabled service checks are still checked

Hello,

the problem is:

I disabled ( almost all ) service and host checks
and installed perfdata. When doing a tail -f serviceperf.log
the disabled checks still appear, btw. what is the 
difference betwen the "X" and the "P" disabled services???
How to stop nagios checking the disabled services???
