check_mrtg

Hi list,
I am using Nagios 1.0 ( I know it is old but it doesn't give me any problem)
On Solaris 5.9
Nagios-plugins 1.3.1
I just need to understand something regarding the plugin "check_mrtg"
If i have a config file for more than a single router with multiple
interfaces, is there a way to monitor per interface or at leaset per router?
Any help would be very much appreciated,
