disable notifications weirdness

Hey guys, 

There is something weird going on in my nagios. I clicked the "Disable 
notifications for this service" as the administrator then it adds the icon 
with the red x beside. This means, notification has been disabled. But after 
a few hours, I get notifications again and the icon with red x disappears. 
Why does it get enabled? 

Please help.
