Subject: [Nagios-users] New Installation - "Host Assumed to Be Up" - Undertimined Sate in Avalability Report

Hello All:

I have just installed 1.2 from the FreeBSD ports and everything appears
to be working well. I can monitor all of my devices and they send
alarms and show properly when there is an outage (as defined). However,
when I look at the availability report for a particular host that shows
"up" in the GUI, I show 100% Undetermined State, unless there has been a
critical event which shows correctly.

Can someone point me to the appropriate way to get the devices to show
"up" instead of "undetermined state"?

Thanks in advance,

Mike
