All checks turns to pending when restart/reload.

I installed Nagios 1.2 (the debian nagios-text_1.2-3.3_i386.deb)
It all worked well in 1.2 fedora (nagios-1.2-0.rhfc1.dag) and 1.1 .deb.
It does not read status.sav it seems.

I set:
retain_state_information=1
state_retention_file=/var/log/nagios/status.sav
retention_update_interval=60
use_retained_program_state=1

Any Ideas?
